Did you know that just recently both
the city of St. Louis, Missouri and Clayton,
Missouri adopted LEED for newly built city owned
facilities so long as the square footage is greater
than 5000 square feet? One of the conditions though
requires that the facility meet at least a Silver
level of certification.
U.S. Green Building Council - St. Louis Regional
Chapter
With generous support from AmerenUE, USGBC-STL is
pleased to announce the LEED Incentive Grant
Program! Beginning on June 1, 2006, this program
is designed to accelerate green building practices,
energy conservation and environmental performance in
the St. Louis Region. Grants will be awarded to
encourage the construction of LEED certified green
buildings that will serve as examples for future
projects.
